Cardiovascular diseases and stent functionalization
October 18th, 2017 – 9:00am to 4:30pm – University of Greenwich (London)
FIND NEW TECHNOLOGIES & PARTNERS AND DISCOVER THE RESEARCH ACTIVITIES & PROGRESS OF THE IMODE PROJECT!
One of the main objective of the IMODE project is to design innovative resorbable stents and nanofibers coated stents loaded with bioactive multicomponent systems. This event is dedicated to this thematic and the attendees will benefit from transdisciplinary point of views (from patient association needs to clinicians’ benefits, through scientific achievements).
IMODE annual convention is open to researchers, clinicians patient association representatives and companies, in the field of cardiovascular diseases and stent functionalization.
> Dr Isaac JOHN (St Peter’s Hospital) – “Clinical perspective of vascular pathologies and the use of active stents today”
> Gavin LAMBERT (Chair of Trustees of Different Stroke Association) – Patient point of view
> Prof. Simon GAISFROD (University College London) – “3D printing for the development of pharmaceutical dosage forms”
> Dr Adrien HERTAULT (Univ Lille 2) – “Tissue engineering and vascular reconstruction”
POSTERS DURING LUNCH
> Dyhia KERSANI (Univ Lille 1) “Drug-Eluting stent coated with nanofibers using electrospinning”
> Justine MOUGIN (Univ Lille 2) “Simvastatin release from nanofibers covered stent and development of a rabbit iliac model for assessment of anti-restenosis bio-activity”
> Zuzanan HLASKOVA (UEA) “Development of Colon Targeted Muco-sliding Nanoparticles”
> Muqdad ALHIJJAJ (UEA) “Thermal microscopic analysis as a potential high throughput screening tool for polymer based solid dispersion formulation”
